🌳 Orbify Carbon v2 - Aboveground Biomass (AGB) Estimation
With the release of Orbify Carbon v2, we've made a significant leap forward in both accuracy and reliability. The model now makes greater use of radar data, which has helped reduce terrain-related distortions in hilly or mountainous regions.
🌿 What’s new:
Orbify Carbon v2 release – more reliable insights in fragmented and complex landscapes
Improved AGB model – enhanced accuracy using radar data, especially in hilly or low-forest areas
Expanded data sources – integrates Landsat 8/9, ALOS PALSAR, and GEDI AGB for global-scale ML modeling
Annual biomass estimates – available from 2015 to 2023, with 2024 support coming in Q3 2025
Custom model training – tailored AGB estimates with ground truth data on request
