Who is a supplier?
A supplier can be:
a farm,
a plot owner,
a commodity producer,
a product manufacturer.
In short, anyone providing products or raw materials into the supply chain. Under the EUDR regulation, suppliers must be verified for compliance, not just the plots. In practice, when you work with a supplier, you work with all of their plots.
From your homepage, click Create Supplier. Enter the supplier’s name, country, and email address, then save. Once created, your supplier will automatically receive an invitation email.
After accepting the invitation, the supplier will be directed to the Supplier Portal.
Supplier Portal: Uploading Data
Inside the Supplier Portal, suppliers can import a DDS by entering the required reference number and verification number.
They can also upload plots directly in the portal. For each plot, suppliers may attach additional documents, any file type is accepted.
Review and Approval in PlotShare
You remain fully in control of the process!
In the PlotShare section, you can review everything your supplier submits. Each submission will appear with a Pending Approval status. From there, you can approve or reject plots and documents as needed.
Once you approve a plot, the supplier will immediately see the EUDR compliance results. The best part? As soon as a plot is accepted, the platform automatically begins compliance assessment.
Why this matters
The Supplier Portal helps shift responsibility closer to the source. Instead of you manually gathering verification codes or plot data, suppliers can now manage their own information. You only need to approve their submissions, which saves time and ensures accuracy.
